Safety starts with you. Please keep in mind any situation that effects you, your passengers or other entrants will have a domino effect on every one. Please take time to download the FAQ, Radio operation and Emergency procedures from our website.

The website information is only a guide, as normal commonsense prevails.

Some good reminders.

1. Never turn your radio down or change to another radio channel.

2. Call all oncoming and any conditions that are not normal.

3. Remember you will have another car behind your dust, inform them of grids, on coming traffic or abnormal conditions

4. Keep dust lights on during all dirt road conditions.

5. If stopping, keep well clear of the road, remember an oncoming, you being parked and the car behind you require an area for three cars side by side and one could be a truck.

6. Go stationary for all large trucks or double bees and call on your radio to advise others, note your distance on your awareness call, e.g. car 14 at 27k BLT heading towards us.

There is a possibility that another entrant has spoken to the truck driver and advised him/her of our tag along, all trucks are on ch 40 if you need to advise them. Always make 101% sure you go back to the J4K radio selected channel, your life could depend on it.
